    About us

  • EDISON'S BIG IDEA

Think back to when you were a student. What were your most exciting learning experiences? Was it sitting in your desk listening to your teacher?

Probably not! Most likely. it was hands on learning experiences. Along with having a 21st Century indoor classroom, Little Village also offers an outdoor classroom, a classroom without walls. Mother Nature provides our hands on lessons and learning experiences. Of course, with the coaching of seasoned teachers. Kindergarten classes have the option of learning in the outdoor classroom among the Loblolly pines, on the banks of spring fed Lake Geneva, or on the beautiful manicured lawn.

From the time the children walk through the doors of his or her classroom, the importance of REPECT, RELATIONSHIPS, RELIABILITY, and RESPONSIBILTY is stressed. Values are reinforced through small group participation. Students are expected to have a positive attitude and encouraged to take responsibility for his or her own learning.
